Passion & Pursuit
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you might" But we have loved all other things more. This is what sin is - dishonoring God by preferring other things over Him, and acting on those preferences. Our passion must first be Christ, then all other things will become clear.

So true, Leo. This is what we battle as Christians every day we step into the world, but we have a choice...I think we have to understand that the choice is a lot easier than we care to admit. We just need to redirect our passion.
I love the fact that you said "the choice is alot eaiser than we care to admit". This would be a very true statement yet a sobering one as we many times would not choose to pursue our God, instead of the whole meal that He is offering us we settle for the crumbs that fall off the table. Our fallen nature continues to put up road blocks before us in our pursuit of our King, but praise be to God that He has made a way for us in Him. I encourage those reading to remember that He is the author and the finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), trust Him no matter what the circumstance and continue to press into Him.

Commit to Christ FIRST...then everything else will follow.
